Here’s an interesting story…

Some time ago, about 2 years, I “borrowed” to someone a pair of below average quality earphones… of course, never seen them again since… didn’t really care much…

But, about a week ago, while walking home, I almost stepped on a perfectly good pair of earphones laying there on the street, looked around if someone lost them or was probably looking around… but nobody was around fitting that description… so I did the logical thing - free earphones, yay :) (of course, didn’t try them out immediately, who knows how long they were there laying on the floor…)

Talk about karmic justice…

It’s cute and it’s fluffy… it must be dangerous.

Updating Windows 7… It’s almost like “russian roulette”… Spinning the barrel of a gun while downloading the update, and after restart (which feels like pulling the trigger), odds are it should still work, but there’s always a chance it might not work, and the black screen before it fades in the desktop always gives me a little scare now and then… Those 2-3 seconds of blackness last more then 2-3 seconds from my perspective.

Currently at the hospital waiting… And there’s a guy mumbling things and walking up and down the hall very neuroticly… Bet he’s going to kill something later… Has that psycho look and glasses… And theres also a high chance that I might be wrong… But realy bored at the same time…

Usually when you do someone a favor you probably get a “Thx, youre a pal” or “kthxbye”… on less than usual occasions, you get a free coffee, a ride home, cookies (probably stale, but it’s the thought that counts… right?)

But, on some almost unique occasions, you actually get a “quest reward” worth it’s value… And I just got one of those “quests” :)

The thing was quite straight-forward, didn’t had to kill bunnies or collect things or anything like that… It was more of a “side-quest” that doesn’t have to be done, but I did it, and got this as a “thank you”:

Yay :) probably won’t use it much but it’s still cool to get something like this for doing something you would probably do for free.

I just came up with a cool idea for my game (yes, I’ve been working on a flash based game of mine as a project… a space strategy, 2D, big ships, lost of ships, lasers, missiles and ion cannons… more details in later posts…).

It doesn’t have a real title, but the project name is “multy2_tactics”…

So, the idea I got was while I was in the bathroom, I saw a green mouth wash, it was a brand I never tried before, so I gave it a sip… and it was like putting a dozen packs of overdosed peppermint bubble gums in a liquid form without any sugar… I usually eat a spicy kebab without much problem, but this was way more intense… didn’t even need coffee afterwards… So I thought to myself “hell, this must have scraped everything in my mouth, including my taste buds…”. Then as I ejected the substance out of my mouth and into the sink, I couldn’t help feeling like I was projecting a green stream like an ion cannon (note the green lines in the picture)…

And then the idea hit me… damage on ships caused by the ion cannons… 2 layers of bitmap, one representing the hull and the other one representing damage, as the hull layer goes bit by bit away, the damage layer is shown and that could work out like a charm :). I expect a few problems on the way but I think it’s pretty much possible…

Ok, maybe I wasn’t as back as I thought I might be back the last time I got back… (I think I got that sentence right…)

So, if (anyone’s) wondering where I was for the past few months, I’ll try to make a list of any events worth mentioning…

There, that’s it… on the less interesting events, I spent a lot of time sleeping, playing video games and even working in a real estate agency (turns out I’m capable of doing something useful and get payed for it, yay…).

Actually, I’m still working there… it’s actually my first ever real job where I have to show some responsibility… Right, who am I kidding? I find loop holes, flaws and I abuse them as much as I can… Spending more time for myself, doing less efficiently and taking it easy for the same amount of money per hour… Of course, sometimes things needs to be done, so I put a little extra effort and get it done and eventually turn out as an office hero… But strangely, when I have things to be done, and doing them makes time pass quicker which is a good thing… but when there’s nothing to be done, and it’s still too early to go home, time slows down just to make me even more bored… Good thing I bring my laptop to work and there’s an unsecured wireless access point in vicinity so I can act like I’m doing something while actually just surfing the internet or playing time-wasting games… Just have to make sure I have some word documents ready for a quick “alt-tab” cover-up, heh heh…

Ok, nice… Got that one covered… Although I feel that the picture is unrelated to the topic, It’s still a nice good way to make boring text seem less boring… (I think I re-discovered gravel again)

Also, I’ll try to keep regular on posting things… With possible brakes here and there… I don’t know why I actually stopped writing things here… Wait, I do… I was lazy… Very, very lazy, laz…
